Andy BowerCompany Director"I started off working as an apprentice for Hyundai and seat. I was then head-hunted by Volkswagen to work for them as a vehicle technician. After six years working for Volkswagen I believed that the hard work and effort I personally put in was not being reflected in the customer's overall experience. This inspired me to set up Lincoln Volkswagen specialists Ltd. With the emphasis on 100% customer service and giving all Volkswagen Audi Group drivers a real choice when it comes to Service & Repair." |

Patrick SheehanService Manager"I started in the motor trade in 1979 as an apprentice mechanic with the Marshall Motor Group. After completing my apprenticeship and working at Marshalls for a further four years, I left to join Halfords Garage Services as a Service Advisor. In 1991 I took my first Service Manager's position with Quick's Motor Group. Since then, I have held the position of Aftersales Manager for several franchises, the latest being with Citroen for the last 17 years. I was introduced to Andy Bower through a mutual friend and after several meetings found we had a lot in common in the way we think a business should be operated, especially in the area of customer service and satisfaction. I was invited to join the company as Service Manager in April 2010. Since joining Lincoln VW Specialists it has been a refreshing change to not be tied into the constraints and politics of the main dealer franchise. This enables us to give a very personal and professional service to our customers at a competitive price, concentrating on total customer satisfaction and value for money." |

Richard GrayMaster Technician"I massively enjoy my career in the motor trade, it is all I have ever wanted to do. I have worked in a variety of areas within the motor trade including HGV, engine and gear box building, fabrication and bodywork and for a local Volkswagen Franchise Dealer. This varied experience has given me such a wide ranging skill set that I can put my hand to anything! I am extremely keen on technology and enjoy keeping up to date with all the very latest innovations in the world of cars. At LVS I have a Personal Development Program, something I have not had before, this has been such an exciting opportunity for me to plan my training in advance meaning I am familiar with any new system I have to work on. I was really pleased to get the job at LVS, after working with Andy Bower in a franchised dealer I understood his outlook on customer service and getting the job done correctly, this is an extremely refreshing attitude after working for a Dealer. I am ATA accredited and have completed my NVQ level 3 in motor vehicle repairs along with numerous Volkswagen training courses." |

James KinseyService Technician"My first 2 years working in the motor industry were spent at Suzuki where I was lucky enough to learn skills in both service reception and the workshop. I was then invited to work at Volkswagen in service reception. I found this role very informative and I learnt a great deal, however I thought that customer service was being affected by manufacturer's rules and regulations. After a year working in a large Main Dealer environment I was introduced to Andy Bower who explained the idea behind LVS and its aims for customer satisfaction. I began employment at LVS in mid 2007 and I believe that we are not just a main dealer alternative but a competitor whether that be on price, customer service or the over-all experience of your visit. I have a NVQ level 3 in Motor Vehicle Repairs, Attended VW training courses and am looking forward to completing my ATA accreditation" |

Nathan SchlosserService Technician"I have been in the motor trade for 14 years now, since 1997. I have worked on several makes of motor vehicle giving me a huge spectrum of knowledge, the majority of my time in the trade has been spent at main dealers this has helped me stay at the top of my trade with regards technology. Over the years I have attended many main dealer training courses to help develop my skills and improving my knowledge on each products I have worked on. Within the main dealers I have worked there has been many frustrating times where the hard work put in by the workshop isn't realised by the customer resulting in the customer being let down by other areas of the business even though a lot of hard work has been put in by the workshop team. To find LVS a real dealer alternative giving a massively better level of customer service, I was delighted when I was asked to join the team! I am currently working towards becoming an MOT tester and looking forward to attending the courses I have planed this year" |
