British Heart Foundation - London to Brighton Cycle Ride
Members of the Lincoln Volkswagen Specialists team trained hard to make sure that they are up to the challenge of the 54 mile bike ride from London to Brighton to raise money for the British Heart Foundation on June 19th. LVS are donating sponsorship money to the BHF as part of our ongoing commitment to UK charities. Barry Mann - LVS have helped local golfer turn professional for the 2011 tour season
Barry Mann of Lincoln has been a keen golfer for many years and has turned Pro for the 2011 season. LVS is extremely excited to be sponsoring a local sports person who is excelling in his field. Barry missed the cut for the British open at Sandwich by just 2 shots! Barry's VW Jetta has been remapped using Revo software saving him money on ever growing fuel costs giving him more to spend on his 2011 Golf Tour.
Cancer Research UK - Race for life
Lincoln Volkswagen Specialists sponsored a team of local ladies taking part in the Cancer Research UK race for life at the Lincolnshire Show Ground. As cancer now affects one in three people we all know someone who has been affected by cancer, this is why we think it is such a worthwhile cause.
Lincs County Fishing Team - Continuing our support for local anglers
Lincoln Volkswagen Specialists are continuing our sponsorship for the Lincs County fishing team with contributions to prize funds for several events on the angling calendar including the Monday night series. The 2011 Paul and Jim Andrew memorial match held on 14th August sponsored by LVS was a great success with 64 anglers entering. Winner Paul Goulding won with an impressive weight of 81lb 4oz. Lincoln City Football Club
LCFC are at the centre of sport in Lincoln the football club not only encourages and nurtures football talent, LCFC also heavily promotes all aspects of sport for young people in the Lincoln area. This is why they were an obvious choice when it came to choosing who Lincoln Volkswagen Specialists would sponsor. LVS are committed to sponsoring LCFC for the whole of the 2011/2012 season.
